    What is the difference between the Mahanta, SUGMAD, and the Master? (I know what a chela is—me.)

Dear Jennifer,

   Yours is quite a question!  I'll try to explain it as simply as possible.

    The SUGMAD is our name for God.  The SUGMAD, the ECK, and the Mahanta are all three of the same reality.

    The SUGMAD has three aspects, and they are also the three bodies of the Mahanta.  First is the eternal Mahanta that always lives in the Ocean of Love and Mercy.  Second is the ECK.  Third is the historical Mahanta, the Living ECK Master.  He is the Master, the Godman.  People can see and talk with him.  The chela who answers the Master's call is taken home to God and becomes a Co-worker with God.
